Cinderella is the best known love story thus requiring no introduction. The most beautiful thing in this fairy tale is the way in which the two partaining to such different worlds comes to experience true love. Cinderella is a beautiful girl orphaned of both parents and forced to move with her step mother; she is no longer part of the family but becomes a servant... in her own house. When she expresses a wish to attend the royal ball her mother will not let her wear her old clothes however beautiful... but gives them to her own daughters so they can be the prettiest at the ball and to make an impression on the prince. Cinderella is left alone in tears and that is when her fairy god mother appears and turns her into the belle of the ball. She dresses Cinderella nicely, makes her a carriage out of a pumpkin and two great horses so white they shone out of two puny mice. At the ball Cinderella draws attention because of her amazing beauty, everyone sees how wonderful she is and one of the main things that make her noticeable is the glass slipers that no one had ever seen before. The prince's eye is then caught by her despite all the other ladies trying to win him over... they did not stand a chance since his eyes could not leave the sight of Cinderella. She was having a hard time beliving everything that was happening to her... the only condition imposed upon her by the fairy god mother had been to return at midnight when every transformation would return to normal. The two fall in love, neither being able to see anyone else, and are impossible to part... until the clock struck the sound of midnight. For fear that the prince might leave her when realising how poor she was and that it had all been a spell, she runs home but in her rush loses a shoe. The following day the prince goes looking for her with that shoe knowing that it would only fit his beloved. After a quite long journey e finds her and they obviously live happily ever after.
