The Holy River Ganges
The devotee Swati stood on the bank of Mother Ganges! Early in the morning,before sunrise...waiting for him! Her big,black MS trunk was secure in the Perfect Master's Ashram-in the exclusive hostel for woman devotees!
The time was 6.30 am.
The golden rays of the sun sparkled through the flow of Ganges.
The never-ending dance of thousands of blue ripples all over lighted within!

O! Mother Ganga,you command great love and adoration in this ancient land!
My humble salutations at your sacred feet!
Your flow is life supporting!
Your waters wash away the sins of thousands of your devotees day after day!
Your holy ghats are the docks for the ships to anchor and to unload sins!
You are the river of faith for the pilgrims of faith!
Mere sprinkle of your waters is divine experience!
You are not only a river-you are a legend!
A visit to your banks is spiritual exaltation!
A sip of your holy water with the final breath is the guarantee of liberation,
From the mortal bindings forever!
O! Water Goddess! You descended from the Heavens at Gangotri and brought,
Prosperity en-route,to millions!
Hail to you,daughter of King Bhagirath.
O! Mother of Bhishma-the prince of unfailing vow of celibacy!
Your glow thrills my adorning heart and mind!
Your flow is the smile of spirituality!
You create a halo,wherever you reach!
To watch you is an ecstacy!
Your ripples sing the song of divinity!
A soft touch of your waters!-And it is farewell to accumulated sense of sins-this is,
Your way of administering divine justice!
You forgive us,just as a mother forgives her offspring!
Your gleam is not merely to watch.Your roar is not merely to hear.You are the total experience!
Your fathomless glory is unexplainable with the aid of syllables!
Words fail as I crave to admire thee!
A dip in your holy waters is for ultimate deliverance from human bondage!
O! Mother! What hymn can I sing about your compassion!
Seeing you,my throat and heart are choked!
You are the shrine,you are the deity and you are the Light! You are the ultimate bliss!
Your perennial flow of grandeur is an audible prayer!
Your truimphant roar gives me inner strength!
You are the experience of peace and silence-that Profound Silence!
Purity! Thy name is Mother Ganga!
