Seven Habits Of Highly Effective Teens
(Sean Covey)

Publicidade
This book is written by Sean Covey, son of the famous author and motivational speaker, Stephen Convey who authored the book Secen Hbaits of Highly Effective People. Sean's book borrows concepts from his father's work but is very entertaining since it keeps in mind the fickleness and attention problems of teenagers. Most Teenagers can bored with books and wouldnt bother reading a book from cover to cover since they have millions of better things to do like spends hours on the phone gossiping about the new girl in school. For this reason, Sean has styled the book in a manner that can attract teenagers' attention and keep it.

The book begins by focusing on habits and paradigms, things that trick us into doing what we do. This is followed by subjects such as private and public vitory ending with the part entitled Renewal. While the book may sound like any motivational book, it actually is a lot deeper than that. Sean has interviewed many teenagers for this book and their views and personal victories are highly inspiration and they are what keep reader's interest alive throughout.

There are quotes, cartoons, and real life stories that make it a much easier read than Senior Convey's book. It is neither dry nor nonsensical. A must read for all teenagers out there who really want to improve their lives. A tip though: While you are working on yourself, dont forget about the power of faith, believing in God and remember that believing in yourself means believing in the power of God who created you. Once you beleive that, it is all down-hill from there. Good luck!
