Note: this is an abstract from my book which deals with curing physical and psychological ailments by the use of essential oils, flowers and herbs. Many of the recipies are hundreds of years old.

INSOMNIA:

Essential oils: Clary Sage & Lavender

Mix both essential oils together (3 drops each). This mixture can be used in your bath, an an inhaler, on a compress, for gentle massage or put a few drops on your pillow at night.

NOTE: Not suitable for children from the age of 0-12 years old.

LAVENDER: This alone can be used on children and is knows as an immune system booster. For children from the age of 1-12 years (2 drops) can be used in a bath, as a room fragrancer, on a compress or for gentle massage.

RBS:

Hops, Passion Flower and Valerian

INTERNALLY: (or as a Tincture or an Infusion)

These three herbs can be mixed together as a tinture of infusion for insomnia. Mix the herbs together and take about 30 minutes before going to bed to ensure a good night's sleep.

NOTE: Not suitable for children from the age of 0-15 years old.
