How a man will be free to speak any language, he must be clear what exactly to be spoken and the reaction of his speech will get him permanent friendship or correct business deal or exact coordination from the people expected.
The purpose of the language is to communicate to the other person or common announcements. To teach any subject only your mother tang will help. Because mother tang means like your mother the language will help you to understand what you need from the subject. The same way to learn also mother tang will help.
If you are joining in a group of mixed people. Speak few words in English some one will get in touch with you and further you will be able to place your self in a commanding position.
If you are meeting only English people. Say my mother tang is Tamil and please excuse me for I cannot communicate as frequently as like my mother tang people will not mistake you and they will try to understand in way what they adopt.
In such case no mater where you born. Learn English to begin your tea party or learn to give end speech or to get self introduction of your self to the people you wish to communicate.
