complexity offers us not only a great piece of prose but also one of
the best written poetry ever.
What are Psalms? A psalm is a prayer, written in a poetical way,
directed to God. There are thankful Psalms - thanking God for a
prosperous life and good health. For less lucky there are Psalms
begging God for mercy and forgiveness for the sins they have made.
Still, if one needs to ask God for something, there is nothing better
than to look for a Psalm. On dozens of pages the Bible presents us with
high skilled poetry for every occasion. However the author remains
unknown, some researches poin Salomon as the most probable writer.
Psalm are sung in churches and read at home. Wherever one hears them,
one can't forget about them for a long time. Psalms offer a great
chance of poetry for many depressing moments as well as sunny days.
