Dear God,

I am writing this letter to you today as I stand on the doorstep of one more beautiful year of my life. Since my creation and my stepping into this world, your love and concern towards me has always pulled me out from the gloomiest terrains. Despite my losses and failures, I could always feel the strength that I have to move on. You taught me to grow, you gently swayed my cradle, you whispered into my ears, you warned me of dangers, you helped me in my bewilderment, you supported me in my shortcomings, you were always there in my uncertainties. You gifted me with your grace; you shaped me with distinction that I could shine out of multitudes. I was never short of your love and warmth in any moment of my life. Your mystical ways always had something beautiful in store for me. You made sure that I was surrounded with people who love me very much. You constantly told me that you are fond of me by giving me good friends.

Dear God, how grateful I am for being me your most loved one. How fortunate I am to feel your presence when others are oblivious. What could be more gratifying than talking about you! What could be more passionate than talking to you! How I wish I could journey through the physical to an incomprehensible clemency to express my thankfulness. Thank you Lord for crafting me with utmost care and beauty.

Dear Lord I may have forgotten many things that I should say but I know you know everything. I may not have done things the way you wanted me to do but I know that you will understand me. I know I have disappointed you limitlessly but I never doubt your bounty of forgiveness.

Loving God, I make an attempt today to translate my thoughts into words, my mind struggles for lofty and fitting words that will integrate my abundant feelings for you. Perhaps it is the most suitable time today as I stand on the edge of the present which will soon join the past. I offer my prayers Almighty, to grant me a piece of your Might, I pray to you God, to grant me a piece of your Good. What more to ask Father, I have it all! I wish there was someone above you whom I could pray to take care of you. Thank you so much Lord.
