A Simple Story

This elegantly told
story looks at the professional and personal lives of Marie, a
39-year-old industrial designer, and her colleagues. A divorced working
mother with a 19-year-old son, Marie has an abortion and break ups with
her boyfriend. Then, she renews a sexual relationship with her
ex-husband Georges, even though he's already involved with a much
younger woman. While Marie makes dramatic changes in her life, her
friends ponder their own troubles, which leads to some surprising and
heartbreaking choices.
