Harry Potter And The Deadly Hallows

he 7th and final installments of the Harry Potter saga will come to and end on July 21st of 2007. This is a bittersweet moment for me, for a long time I?ve wanted to know the conclusion of this amazing tale, but now that the end is near I know that I?ll definitely miss the series.
I remember reading the first Harry Potter book, on the summer I got back from my sophomore year in college. I?d actually gotten the book because I?d like the cover, at the time I had no idea who Harry Potter was. That same summer the fourth book had come out, and the major hysteria with it. It was definitely understandable the books were so easily read and brought such entertainment that they were easy to enjoy. I do have to say that I get annoyed by those people who simply dismiss the series for either being to popular or for being in the same genre of Lord of the Rings. For those who shun its popularity, get over it, just because something is popular it doesn?t make it bad. And for those who are LotR fans, get over it, I too have read LotR and enjoyed it immensely but seriously one book has nothing to do with the other, regardless if they are both Fantasy Fiction.
But back to HP; I do hope that Harry won?t die, but if he does I am prepared to deal with it as well, I understand that J.K. might want to pull a Arthur Conan Doyle on us to try and avoid any further sequels not written by her. I think she would like the story to end with her without any further speculations, but I must said that regardless if she does or does not kill Harry the speculation will always be there, regardless.
