Trip To France

I recently visited London with my friend Nora .while we were there we decided to go on a day trip to France .the travel guide said that traveling to France from England by the channel tunnel was faster than going by ferry ,but that the ferry was more interesting so we decided to try the ferry. Nora and I caught the train and arrived at the port of Dover in time to check in 45minutes before departure time. The ferry left exactly on time at7:15 a.m. and the weather was warm and sunny. We had plenty of time to eat breakfast in the cafeteria, buy some duty-free perfume and cash cheque for $300 in the change bureau , and we spent the morning walking around Calais and we took lots photos and wrote postcard to our family back home 1 O?clock we felt hungry so we found a small restaurant near the centre of the town and sat outside , in the afternoon we went shopping and brought some things and we have taken our dinner , after that we caught the 9:30p.m. ferry. We left just a few minutes late, and arrive back in London very happy
