The title ?The VOICE given to Elvis Presley was defended by the people who had listened to his 750 interpretations in studio versions, alive or rehearsals during a 23 year old career. Elvis had a very flexible and eclectic vocal for one who had never had music lessons or conventional theoretical education. Elvis, baritone voice, could reach 3/8th and sometimes he could reach the tenors and basses vocal register. As examples in the 70ths  we could mention the songs Unchained Melody, Hurt, How Great Thou Art, I''ll Never Fall In Love, Again, America The Beautifull, An American Trilogy, What Now My Love, Rags You the Riches, It''s Now Or Never, My Way, among many others alive performances, when he shows beautifully his vocal power which impacts even those who don?t know about his career, reaching in many of them the called  chest do that corresponds the diatonic scale note Sol 3, made with head voice (as a falsetto). Even in the 50ths he showed this vocal power in the sharp notes and mainly in the bass ones, as in 1957 in songs as I Believe, Peace In The Valley, Don''t, My Wish True Cam, Loving You, Lonesome Cowboy, Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem, I''ll Be Home Will be Christmas, Steadfast Loyal and True among others.
