Although the title sounds suspiciously like a tabloid "How your favorite color, flower, music, ice cream, etc. determines your personality" column, don''t dismiss this little gem of a book.
Using a simple "color quiz", the book breaks your personality attributes into one of four colors, Gold, Blue, Green and Orange. In simple, down-to-earth terms, it describes each personality type and their needs, learning styles, values, relationships and personal troubles.
I was not surprised to find that I am a Blue. In a nutshell, my basic need is authenticity, my strongest values are honesty and empathy, my greatest joys are spiritual insight, intimacy and love, and I am troubled by disharmony, dishonesty and lack of feeling.
This book is a fabulous place for those just beginning their quest for personal insight and an excellent gift for those who find more traditional self-help books intimidating.
