An Oral History Of Punk
(John Robb)

Publicidade
An oral history of Punk is everything you ever wanted to know about punk.
Including paragraphs and insights from those that were at the cutting edge of the movement,
there are testimonials and legends written in these pages .
It is a long book with 500+ pages, edited in such a way as to actually transport you
back to those anarchic days, right from the very first murmurs of anti-pop music in the 60`s,
to the defining moments of the White Riot Clash tour and onwards.
Contributors include the likes of John Lydon (Johnny Rotten),Glen Matlock,Rat Scabies,Malcolm McClaren,Bernie Hughes,Mick Jones, Don Letts, Jah Wobble,J.J Burnell.. If indeed there was a better documentation of this great era in music, then I have sadly missed it,but I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
There are various accounts of detailed incidents, written in the press, and itis these different perspectives
of what was happening at the time that really give you a never before seen insight into the monster that was/is punk rock. Johnny...Quixote
