Dubliners

Write your abstract here. Dubliners is a collection of short stories. The stories are about the lives of people living in Dublin, Ireland. The common theme is that these characters are caught by the trapping of themselves or the circumstances of their lives. The story I remember in particular is about a young woman who intends to leave her father and the city of Dublin, and marry someone and live somewhere else. At the last minute she backs out of her plans. She seems to be living a life of spinsterhood.
