Her mother encourages her talent and takes her totournaments, which she often wins. After her mother embarrassesher in a shop, she refuses to play. Both mother and daughter areso stubborn and are unable to admit that they are wrong, therefore shenever plays chess again.A fascinating book that will keep you thinking for months after you have read it
