Another masterpiece from Mr Bryson.I really enjoy reading Bill Bryson´s work. Especially his travel books (my favourite being Neither Here Nor There). I found to him though by reading A Short History Of Nearly Everything, which is wonderful to read and gives you insight in...well, everything!The Lives And Times Of The Thunderbold Kid now does review Mr Bryson´s childhood in Des Moines, Iowa. Many small anekdotes found their way already into his work, but in this book, you will get a big picture of the small Billy as he fight the morons of the world as Thunderbold Kid.I recommend diving a bit deeper into Bill Bryson´s work before reading this "auto-biographical" piece.Anyway! Enoy and worship Bill Bryson as I am doing it!
