The Holy Bible, is popularly known to be the holy book or guide for christians.The Bible has two parts The Old Testament and The New Testament. Bible talks about the Trinity God - God the father, Jesus christ the son and the Holy Spirit. The Old Testament was the period of God the Father; It constitutes creation of the world and the stories of many generations of people of Israel ruled by various Kings. Itwas the periodBC as known todayas Before Christ. Old Testament shares aboutthe holiness of God and the sinful nature of men. In this period, humans had to give animal sacrifices to recompense their sins and come back to God's presence.
The New Testament constitutes the birth of Jesus Christ, God himself,as man in this world as a saviour who will bear the sins of all the generations to come, by dying on the cross . Jesus lived in the world for thirty three and a half years. He preached at various places, performed miracles, healed the sick and lived a pure life. He lived a life of example against all the power of the enemy who is Satan. He was crucified, buried and on the third day he rose again to life and ascended to the father in heaven. He will come back again to justify the world which is explained as the Second Coming of Christ.
While ascending to heaven Jesus commanded his disciples to go into the world and share the good news of God's love for the world by sending his son to die for people's sins.Also Jesus sent the Holy Spirit of God to be with people so that they may have peace in this world, a peace thatno man or situation can ever take away.
