Dispatches From The Edge: A Memoir Of War, Disasters, And Survival
(Andeson Cooper)

Publicidade
This is an excellent biography written by CNN's anchorman Anderson Cooper. It is inspiring, interesting, and moving. Cooper discusses his childhood, including the death of his father, and how things that happened in his life affected the way he dealt with the tragedies he was reporting on. Cooper struggled to find work when he was young, so he decided to go to where the story is so that the networks couldn't;t help but put him on the air.

What he saw shocked and changed him. From civil wars to natural disasters, what he was reporting was finally noticed. Cooper went on to report for CNN, and was one of Katrina's most respected reporters. Dispatches reveals to us how each story changed Cooper, and how dealing with those tragedies helped him deal with tragedy in his own life.

This is an excellent read for anyone who has been watching all off Cooper's reporting on the tsunami, Katrina, or his show, Anderson Cooper 360. It gives an inside look into what reporters deal with when they go after a story, and it also sheds a personal light on stories weonly hear about on the news.
