Marunnu
(Punathil Kunjabdulla.)

Publicidade

?Marunnu? is a remarkable piece of work showing the dark, cold deaths along with an unending travel of human existence into the void of eternity. It opens up to a world of medical treatment where we can see boring sounds and hear unpleasant colors.Starting from the dreadful epidemic in the very beginning the story death leaves its imprints on us. Devdas- though seems to be the main character - is no one other than a medicine student who loved Lakshmi, daughter of his professor. His presence melts away when Lakhmi got married to somebody as per her father?s order. Dr.Quaja and Thajudeen represents two opposite views towards the medical profession. It comes to an end depicting the scattering lives of all main characters. We feel the darkness of deaths. Kunjabdulla has succeeded in retaining the combat between medical ethics and unbalanced power equations in the field.

Comment: I am a beginner. Don?t expect much more from me. Pardon me for mistakes.
