Revelation, From The Holy Bible
(John)

Publicidade
At the end of the 1st century, a man named John wrote this book while on the island of Patmos. It is an abstract prophecy about the end of the world as we know it.Jesus Christ gives John a vision, in which seven seals and seven trumpet judgements are realeased upon the earth. Each seal and sounded trumpet brings about horrible events surrounding the return of Christ to the planet. There is an extended desciption of a city in the sky called the New Jerusalem, which has been built for the believers of Jesus Christ. It is a magnificent city and haven for those who would rather follow Christ than experience the end of the world. The book ultimately makes the promise that Jesus Christ will, in fact, return to the planet earth. He will come in the midst of the most turbulent time in human history, and will come as a 'lion' rather than a "lamb', meaning his time on earth will not be as it was before. Jesus is known as having paid the ultimate price for our salvation. In the Revelation, however, Jesus Christ is a Warrior General, carrying out a worldwide rescue mission on a scale we've never imagined. The book ends with a warning that no person should change the book in any way. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a promise that He is 'coming soon'. This book is the finale of the Holy Bible.
