To Seek A Newer World
(Robert F. Kennedy)

Publicidade
Robert Kennedy wrote this book a yearbefore his death in 1968, when he was preparing for the presidential race. He dealt with the current issues of that time -
race relations, the Vietnam war, education and the nuclear threat. Throughout it all comes his undying optimism and idealism, convincing the reader that a much better America is possible. Practical suggestions for revamping slum neighbourhoods and the education system have been taken up to a certain extent.
But sadly, many of the problems Kennedy attempts to solve are still with us. He stressed that seemingly insurmountable goals were possible through personal effort. The message of the book is that poverty, discrimination and war don't have to exist if we do something about it, very timely advice.
