Harry potter is orphaned as a baby because an evil ,ambitious wizard killed his mom and dad. The evil wizard was voldomort.Harry was adopted by his aunt and uncle who were mean to him. Harry also had a spoiled cousin who was a real jerk named dudley. One day an importantlettter came for harry,but he didn't get it because his stupid cousin took it and gave it to harry's uncle.One day a whole bunch of letters invaded the house, and they were for harry. Harry potter grabbed one and ran off to his room to read it. It was inviting him to hogwarts a school of witchcraft ,and wizardry. Harry potter's uncle took him and his family to an island in the middle of the ocean to keep harry from going to hogwarts. One night a big guy came for harry.His name was Hagrid. Hagrid wished harry potter a very happy birthday. He escorted harry to the wizard bank, greengotsto get money to pay for his tuition.Hagrid got the sorcerer's stone from the vault there but harry didn't see him.After that harry went shopping forhis school supplies.He later got on platform nine and three-fourths with the help of the weasley's.Harry made friends with a boy named ronald weasleyon the train ride to hogwart's. Harryalsometwith a very studious girl named hermione granger who later onwill becomefriends with harry and ron.when Harry potter and the rest of thewizrards and witcheson the train got to hogwarts they were sorted into their houses by the sorting hat. Harry and ron were late for class the next day, but weren't punished for it. In snapes potion making class ,Professor Snape scolded harry for not paying attention.One night the stairway changed and hooked to another. Harry told ron not to wait until the stairway changed , again but to go that way out.They went inside a door that contained a three headed dog. One nightHarry asked Hagrid what the three headed dog was guarding. Hagrid told harry what the dog was guarding was between him and nicholas flammel.Hermione told Harry where he might find information on Ncholas Flammel. Harry Potter went to the restricted section and found out that Nicholas Flammel was the creator of the sorcerer's stone. When he went there he also came to a conclusion that Professor snape was trying to steal the sorcerer's stone. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine was trying tell everyone that someone was trying to steal the stone but no one would listen to them.Harry went to Hagrid and found out the three-headed dog could be put to sleep by music.Harry was going to try to get the stone before anyone else attempted to.Harry,ron and Hermione went to retrieve the sorcerer's stone, but was not the first to go under the trap door because someone had already put the dog asleep with a music box.Harry, ron ,and Hermione had to navigate a room with a lot of fake Keys, and a deadly game of chess just to reach the final deatination.Harry came to the room with a mirror and to his suprise the person in the room with him was professor Quarrel not snape.Harry was all wrong about professor snape. Professor Quarrel told Harry to look into the mirror and tell him what he saw. Harry did not tell him the truth. Voldomort started speaking to Harry in the back of Quarrels head. Harry destroyed professor snape causing voldomort to have to leave. Harry Potter and his house won the house cup. He made it through his first year of hogwarts. Harry and his friends said their goodbyes to each other when they headed home.
