The Tale Of The Body Thief
(Anne Rice)

Publicidade
Lestat, the well loved lavish and outgoing vampire that paraded himself in the previous vampire chronicles is back. And he is so much better than ever.

Lestat grown tired of being a vampire, he longs to be human again, and when presented with such a chance he jumps right in. Lestat learns how to swap bodies.... with a human. He takes great pleasure (and displeasure) in learning the joys of being human. I personally enjoyed the peeing standing up bit but I can't really tell you much more as it really would spoil such a good laugh. However, something Lestat doesn't count on... Lestat has to go on a long journey finding the body theif. And on the way he does some very interesting things with a nun (?)

The imagery in this book is amazing, the story enthralling, and the jokes laugh aloud funny. And there is even a rather good theme of how humans are like vampires which I studied for an English essay. I would recomend this book to anyone. Whether you have read the vampire chronicles or not this is a fantastic read and will make you want to seek out more Anne Rice.
