I met former President Bill Clinton in Ireland last year! This motivated me to buy his
book/BILL CLINTON/ and herewith my abstract!

I found the passages well written and the prose and poetic mixture of styles was
pleasing to the reader.

In terms of key issues: the questions of peace processes is entered into by
Mr Clinton: he traces his Presidency through from beginning middle and end:
His wife Hillary Clinton plays a pivotal role in his Political Career and his
daughter is featured prominently in his WHITE HOUSE DAYS!

The issues I suppose that attract most attention are obviously his dealings
with the Arab-Israeli Conflict and again, on a more level footing the
conflict in Northern Ireland with Britain: historically, Northern Ireland is seen as a British
backwater and a graveyard for many politicians! This humourous touch
Is Mr Clinton's strength: the book again covers areas of knowledge,
both new and old:

Someone in the BOOK SIGNING queue mentioned that he was buying the book
from the former President Bill Clinton simply to hold on to that wonderful
photographic memory: of Clinton as a young man and President John F Kennedy actually -
meeting him!! His said: IT IS MY FAVOURITE PHOTO OF THE LOT!

Many hours of reading produced a fresh insight into the workings of the
White House during the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION as it later became known as!

In particular his Cabinet, referred to in the UK as such, included such celebs as
Madeleine Albright! Her career is well charted by Mr Clinton and the photos of the
OVAL OFFICE are new, and create an insight into the workings of American
Political Life in Washington USA.

His family life: well! everybody loves a rock and roll star! Mr Clinton, it seems to
me, has inspired that ROLE PLAY in his readership: his love of music and
especially playing the Saxophone creates a wide appeal and crosses the
divide of age, gender, sex, religion and culture! What a lot of laughs too!

His mother, gets a few lines; this little insight into
the workings of the former President causes the odd chuckle.

The Book: BILL CLINTON: covers many areas of the world: and the late
President Arafat is photographed WIth Mr Clinton during this tricky Arab
negotiations in the Middle East!

The world looks on as The Clintons live out their political careers: even to this
day, Bill Clinton is in all our newspapers: his Book though I recommend to
a readership that enjoys a good political debate!
