The Da Vinci Code
(Dan Brown)

Publicidade
A trip to Paris turns into race to unravel one of
the world's most intriguing mysteries for Harvard symbologist Robert
Langdon. The curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the
museum, and before dying leaves a baffling cipher. As the story
progresses, Langdon discovers a series of clues hidden in the works of
Da Vinci.

Langdon joins forces with French cryptologist,
Sophie Neveu, and learns of the existence of the Priory
of Sion?a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac
Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci. The Louvre
curator has sacrificed his life to protect the Priory's most sacred
trust: the location of a hugely important religious relic, concealed for
centuries.

Langdon and Neveu pit their knowledge and wits against those of their adversaries who appear
to work for Opus Dei?a secret, Vatican-sanctioned Catholic
sect believed to have long coveted and plotted to seize the Priory's secret. Unless
Langdon and Neveu can decipher the puzzle in time, the
Priory's secret will be
lost forever.

THE DA Vinci CODE is a fast-paced, smart story?absorbing, surprising and completely unpredictable?right
up to its incredible conclusion.
