It is probably the best novel of the king. It is a marvellous story which is told masterly. It makes the reader to hold his breath until the end. A group of children (losers club) has to deal with this terrible evil force which strikes every 28 years. It is called It (the thing) because it shows itself as our fears. These kids get back on the case after defeating this creature already once. The plot continously moves between past and present time. The kids have become adults. According to my opinion it is one of the best books in the last 30 years. My advise is read it! You will not be disappointed. Do not consider the movie, which was a real murder.
