CURTAIN
-Agatha Christie

A very beautiful application of the scientific term, ?catalysis? in the English novel ?Curtain? by Agatha Christie. This novel, written by Agatha Christie, is the source of rescue for those who couldn?t get through the application of catalysis reaction.

Catalysis is the reaction between two chemicals where the presence of third substance called catalyst increases the rate of reaction without being involved in the reaction and being unchanged. This novel is a murder mystery. The story starts with one of the important character whose point of view is central to the story. The novel includes too many characters which seem to be hard to be remembered. But still justifies the readers thirst for thrill and compels the reader to work on their mind to point out the murderer.

This novel revolves around the murder that yet is to take place. The interesting character, Hercule Poirot, is the one who is aware of the murderer. He calls upon one of his friend to help him in his mission to stop the death of innocent people by holding onto the murderer who is responsible for many murders before. This novel also deals with delicate subject like love between husband and wife. A very obvious reaction of a father towards his daughter?s relationship is also shaped in a sensible manner.

The art of Agatha?s writing skill cannot be appreciated until and unless one refers to the last page of her novel. Throughout the novel the reader is baffled about the murderer and when actually one gets the knowledge about it, it?s a beautiful surprise. Something more about the novel would reveal the taste of the novel, so just go and read.
