The book of Genesis is the book of creation. It tells you the history of the creation of our planet earth and the creation of the first human beings. The book fo Genesis also talks about the first rebellious acts against God. one of those acts being Eve and the forbidden fruit. In Genesis you will find a detailed description of the earth as it was being created and what it looked like back then. You will also read about the creation of the animals of the earth and how they got their names. in the book of Genesis you will also read about how Cain rose up against his brother Abel and the first murder in the Bible. Noah is also spoken about in this books. You will read about Noah and his family and the Ark that God told him to build and the animals he took with him onto this might boat while it rained for forty days and forty nights. The rainbow is God's promise to never flood the whole earth again this promise is spoken of after the time of which Noah was in the Ark and the flood had receeded. The evil of Sodom and Gomorrah is also spoken of and how the two cities are destroyed. You will also find the story of Abraham and Sarah in the book of Genesis and how their baby came to be. The book of genesis has alot of interesting stories i it about all kinds of things. Many lesson can be learned from this first book of the Bible including the reason that women suffer pain during childbirth. There is also the popular Biblical story of Jacob and Esau and betrailment of two brothers. The book of Genesis is of course the first book of the Bible and if anyone has questions about the creation of man and the Earth than they can find the answers in this very book.
