The Hound Of The Baskervilles

In this story, Sherlock Holmes encounters an unexpected enemy ? the Hound of the Baskervilles. The story presents many themes: a struggle of logical mind against an ancient folk tale, a deed of mercy in order to save a merciless murderer, a love triangle, which turns into a much more complicated situation, leading to the discovery of the truth behind the legend. According to the 18th century legend, a curse was cast on all descendants of evil Sir Hugo Baskerville: a hound from hell would chase and kill any member of the Baskerville family who will be courageous enough to reside in the Baskerville Hall. Sir Charles Baskerville meets an unexpected death and his only heir, Sir Henry Baskerville, is arriving to England. The mystery must to be solved soon in order to prevent a disaster. It is up to Dr. Watson to collect all the evidence, but while he makes his conclusions, Sherlock Holmes makes ones of his own, since, needing to observe the situation by himself, he is living secretly in a stone hut in the moor, near the Baskerville Hall. There are many suspects to be checked out: the Barrymores, secretive servants living in the Baskerville Hall, the stranger living in the moor, neighbours: Ms. Laura Lyons, who was supposed to meet Sir Charles at the exact time he met his tragic death and Jack and Beryl Stapleton, a couple which befriended with Sir Henry upon his arrival.It seems like almost everyone has a secret. But beware: the most open and plain people turn out to have the darkest secrets of all!As usual, Sherlock Holmes has suspects, but the only way to find out whether the suspicions are true is to set a trap with Sir Henryas a bait.
