samson comes from an average family. He met Angela,whose family belong to the aristocratic sector of the society. they fell in love or it seemed. all though the dating and courtship period, samson found out that he couldn't control Angela. she always wanted to have her way in every situation that require a choice. Samson did not really like this, but he thought there were many men who would not mind switching position with him. hence he went ahead and married Angela, against the counsel of his parent Right from the start it was clear thatAngela wouldn't be sumissive to Samson. giving the slightest reaason, she would shout at him, even though she was four years his junior. soon after the wedding, nothing Samson did was right for Angela one day,after a shot argument, Angela threw Samson's ring at him, slapped him and walked out. Samson, not wanting his marriage to end like that, went after his wife two days later.
when he arrived at her parent's house, he was surprised to find a married man in her room with the consent of her parents.
she asked him for a divorce and he felt had no choice but to start her wish. According to Dede, he went through indescribable experience. it feels as if i went to hell and came back,he recalls.
Samson married Angela, not from his own conviction of her good qualities, but because he felt the whole world was envying him
this is a less-than-realistic perception of the foundaion of marriage.
marriage is not a walk in the park. the person you marry is going to affect the way the rest of your life turns out. be sure of marry somebody who does not intimidiate you in any way. a woman that demeans you during courtship do thesame in marriage.
mutual respect is the paramount inportance for the success of any marriage there can't be submission where there is no respect. and there can't be love where there is no submission.
Be sure that the person you commit to is already commited to God.
