Main Plot
Little Women is one of the best loved books of all time. Lovely Meg, talented Jo, weak Beth and spoiled Amy: these are hard lessons of poverty and of growing up in New England during the Civil War through their dreams, acts, jokes, notes, diseases, and courtships.
The girls resolved to face life as Pilgrims, to overcome their weaknesses, and be 'good little women' by the time their father returned. The oldest, Meg, determined to enjoy her work more and worry less about her looks. The Tomboy, Jo, pledged to better control her temper. Amy desired to be less selfish and less proud about her beautiful golden hair. Beth, the home-body prayed to overcome her fear of people. The girls labored for the next year to get these qualities, with much success and occasional failure.
At year's end jo met Laurie, the new neighbor boy. They introduced themselves, and they soon felt like old friends. A lifelong friendship was formed between them. In the March family, Laurie found a circle of sisters and a mother he never knew; and they found, in him, a brother and a son.
When you are reading the dramatic book you have become a section of this remarkable family and have felt the deep sadness when Meg leaves the circle of sisters to be married, the chronicles Meg's joys and mishaps as a young wife and mother, Jo's struggle to become a famous writer, Beth's tragedy, Amy's artistic pursuits and unexpected romance.
Creative task
I chose to change the end of the story:
Laurie met Amy in Nice and came back to his house after a week. He met Jo and she told him that she thought about them and she is in love with him. He asked Jo to marry him and she agreed. They married and today they have a little girl. Amy traveled slowly towards Switzerland and met a good looking artist called Nelly, He was a very famous artist in Switzerland and was in love with beautiful Amy and asked her to marry him and Amy agreed.
Mr. March and Mrs. March were happy that their girls become little women, however Beth was always in their hearts.
