The Meaning Of Life
(Dalai Lama)
The LAMA Dalai is never concealed with the great questions. The Significance of life is a collection of conferences given in London in 1984 on the Buddhist worldview, before it had gained the Price of Nobel Peace or had become author of the English bestselling. Still, its message is primarily the same one: practise nonviolence, cultivate the altruism, and transform the conscience. In these conferences, the LAMA Dalai starts with a table of the cyclic wheel of existence, by representing the levels of karmic existence and symbols of the 12 bonds to occur dependent. In other words, this table, presented in seven plates of the color, is a visual addition of the basic doctrines of Buddhism. The LAMA Dalai draws on the table to explain the 12 bonds to occur depending and then the way which leads to release of them. A nut and delivers bolts, the readers will like it for his detail and the general range of questions discovered in the listeners. -- Brian Bruya
