On a starry night the cool wind blows
I gaze the sky,my imagination flows,
I see a shooting star and make a wish
thinking about my love,I clasp my hands dropping the dish, I wish to hold his hand
taking him on a journey to the fairyland,
Where even the sun would be in the shape of a heart
and where me and my love would be riding a flowers laden cart, I wish to look into his eyes without a blink
silently wising, my love for him would never sink
Singing alongwith him the melodies of love filled songs
staying with him forever is what my heart longs, Today he is too far
but my longing to be with him has no bar, Just to see him my eyes refuse to sleep,
and now it has even forgotten how to weep,
Just to hear his voice I sit and wait till the phone rings
how do I express the happiness his voice brings, Every moment spent with him flashes in my mind
never did I know love was so blind,
It makes you see the world through your love's eyes
having him besides me makes me feel that time just flies, Oh! my dear,I miss you so much today
on Valentine's day
all I want to say
is may god fill every day of yours with the life's most beautiful moments
and thereby keeping all the adversities at bay.
