The book starts the series od seven tales. They are mysterius, full of properly undersand white magic, talking animals and friendly, heroic people. This book is addresed to younger readers. It`s less complicated and easier to read than Tolkiens Lord of The Rings also written in different style despite the authors of those two books were friends and they were spoke often about their books and took advices from each other. The world shown in Lewis book is more obvious, the good and evil are clearly opposite. To those who are used to fantasy book it may even look quite naive, but it`s an advantage when we read this book to children. Then can easily sleep after such lecture... At least you can be sure they won`t sleep because of boredome. The world of Narnia is full of charm: dancing dryiads, najads, fauns and centaurs and children who found entrance to Narnia through a wardrobe are quite lively and will become readers friends in no time.
