Every child i presume has grown up reading the fairy tales,stories about the perfect world that awaits them.
Beauty and the beast is one such book. A story of a beautiful girl whose love turns a beast into the prince of her dreams. First of all the story instills a hope in every girl growing up that the future is bright because love is the answer. Though later in life the girl does realize that love is not the answer to all that will come her way and sometimes there is a bigger price to pay for this love. That need to find the prince that the fairy tales promise creates a desire and a hope that if you keep trying long enough then you are bound to find him.
At first the prince is a beast much like the appearance of most men that the women meet then, today and absolutely in future too. He does not look, speak or even eat the way we pictured the perfect man to do so but in time we realize that beneath that orgrelike appearance there is the man our hearts have been waiting for. The lesson here presummably will be that the people we dismiss in life for not meeting our ridiculous standards are probably the source of our future happiness.
Beauty turned the beast into a prince,a thing that every womn hopes to achieve. what this fairy teaches us is that a charming prince can only be found if we love and show that we do. It teaches the children to express love and affection for those they care about.
Fairy tales will always remain classics that every child can benefit from and enjoy reading as they grow up. An ammunition in a cruel world.
